Hi. After working on BobSkinSoapTM for a couple of years and finding the ingredients I was using were so good for my skin and hair, I decided to use some of those ingredients for a Lip Balm and also a Hand&Foot Balm. I have never found a lip balm that totally did the trick for my lips. At $3-$5 a tube for Lip Balm I was leaving a lot of tubes lay around and usually throwing them away before using them up.
To make a long story fairly short, after about a year of testing and adjusting the formula I feel I have made the best Lip Balm and Hand&Foot Balm I have ever used and I have used about every Lip Balm that's out there. Like my soap, I have given much of it to others to test and evaluate over this period of adjustment and everyone loves it. I also use it around my nose when it gets sore in the winter and on my sleep lines on my face at night. I was also a smoker for 20 years (non-smoker for about 20 years now) and my index finger and middle finger would get dry and cracked in the area where I held my cigarette and the Hand&Foot Balm totally takes care of that problem also. The reason I developed the Hand&Foot Balm was that, as I grew older I noticed my feet especially would get dry around the bottom edges of my heals, and even crack and hurt sometimes. I put more of the healing oils used in the lip balm in to the Hand&Foot Balm and found that this combination would actually heal and soften my old feet in just a few applications. I now use it about once a week to keep my feet in tiptop shape.
BobSkin Lip Balm and Hand&Foot Balm has Bee's wax, Coco Butter, Shea Butter, Aloe Vera and Cardamom. With Oils of: Jajoba, x-virgin Olive, Apricot Kernel, Avocado, Wheat Germ w/vitamin E, Kukui Nut, Walnut Oil. You will not find any other Lip Balm with all these ingrediants, and if you could they would probably cost $10 a tube. The reason that no one does this is that the oils that are really good for your skin and hair are very expensive.
